I can't believe that is another October lived. October is my favourite month and this year it has disappeared all to quickly, but perhaps that was just because it was rather non-stop and filled with too many good times of the year.
sister's reunion and meeting
oh how my heart melted to see them all together, but to part is just too hard..

an explosion of knitting, so much so my hands are starting to cramp
I'm feeling I should start a knit club for winter to encourage others into my addiction..
this all spurred on by a trip to my favourite shop come tearoom (see below), if you ever find yourself in Keswick I urge you to go to temporary measure I walk in and go 'yes, this is how life should be!

watching the water lap at Derwent water
at two weeks, I feel pretty good about that
and then of course my Mum and Jim visiting, a week of rest for me, thank you Jim!
rediscovering past loved music, I can't stop listening to Mumford and Sons, especially Dust Bowl
Dance (best listened through head phones)
making a new chicken enclosure
tidying and clearing the garden for winter
bread making - this month, spiced pumpkin brioche (presentation 0, taste 11) and crumpets in shape of gingerbread men because we don't own the proper crumpet rings
so nearly finishing the study, the chosen colour - grey

Will making the ultimate play house out of some cardboard boxes, wallpapering the outside to reinforce it, and better to draw on. demonstrating this by drawing a very pretty vine tree complete with berries on it...and to finish it all off fairy lights - I want one!
It has also been a month of such wonderful Jessica moments, the sentences that spill for her mouth are just too good. one of my favourites being, 'that's a welcome', oh how I don't want these to change, and so much excitement over the smallest thing. I love so much to watch these pair grow and change.
but now it is time for the big adventure, so we'll see you in a month. x
