We are already excited about the next visit as my Mum is coming at the weekend and Jessica will announce to anyone that will listen that Gran is coming.
But here are a few moments of the past week that I loved, a week of few photos, but perhaps that was because we were just too involved in the moment.
-Taking Dad across to Tresco on the sea kayaks for a day spent exploring the coastal paths and all the places I can't normally get to when I have a Jessica and buggy with me.
-Just watching my Dad play with Jessica, I never thought I would see the day where my Dad would be made to play buggies and go on a convoy to the shop!
-Running around Polreath Tearoom garden with Jessica playing hide and seek. She still hasn't quite got the concept and will now just hide in the last place you hide. That and she had her bright red cardigan on, so that when she lay bum in the air "behind" a bush I can't say she wasn't just a little more than noticeable, but oh so cute!
-On the first day my Dad had arrived Will semi-intentionally managed to go out fishing in the morning so that we could have the freshest of fish for dinner. It also meant that Will could show my Dad how to fillet with not a bad attempt on his behalf, (but mine was better *gloat*)
-Our first strawberry pick, yay!! and Dad's good old rhubarb crumble mmmm
-Oh and to top it all off a wonderful night spent with the ladies of the Island for Steph's hen party. Yummy pavlova, Pimms and of course the non-alcohol punch substitute and just some good, good company.
